Clauselane is operated by Ellul Solutions Ltd. This page explains what happens to information submitted on this site.

What we collect and why

What you type into the free worksheets stays in your browser and never reaches us. If you send an enquiry we collect your name, email, company, register size and your message. If you open an account we hold your email, your contracts' counterparties, terms, values, obligations, matters and clauses, because that is the product.

Legal basis and sharing

We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to lead buyers, software vendors or advertising networks. Payment is taken by Stripe, who receive your card details directly; card numbers never reach Clauselane. Email is delivered by our email provider. Where you store your own counterparties' details in Clauselane we act as your processor under UK GDPR Article 28, on the written terms published on this site.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for 24 months, then deleted. Aggregate statistics that identify nobody are kept indefinitely.

This site uses cookieless, aggregate analytics. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no consent banner needed.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask for deletion at any time: hello@clauselane.com. We respond within one month.
